Welcome Fr Chad King

Fr. Chad King

will begin presiding over

Masses May 30 and 31

Hello Parishioners of St. Gabriel's,

I am moving in and am excited to begin this journey together.  How appropriate that my first weekend (this weekend) will be Pentecost Sunday, which is the birthday of the Church; in which the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles in the Upper Room and sent them out to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ and the Church began to grow.

So I am excited to help the parish of St. Gabriel's grow and flourish together through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  Building upon the strong foundation from Fr. Dennis and Fr. John, and with your help and support, we will grow into the new Church and school buildings, and flourish even more as a parish according to God's will.  What an excited time for us!

Sadly, this is all happening amidst Covid-19 in which we can only gather in a limited capacity for those who are not high-risk and feel comfortable in doing so.  I will be celebrating and preaching at all the Masses this weekend, including the 10:30am Livestream Mass, and I look forward to meeting you if you are able and feel comfortable.

Yours, in Christ,

Fr. Chad
