The purpose of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is to fulfill two great commandments—love of God and love of neighbor. Through the financial assistance of parishioners and through the time our Vincentians spend, unselfishly, meeting with those within our Parish boundaries who are in need. No act of kindness is foreign to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

Initial contact with St. Vincent de Paul is a phone call from the person in need, to our dedicated line at the parish. We serve our clients within their homes. It is a part of the Rule to meet them, face to face, to bring the love of Christ to them in their time of crisis.

A Vincentian must have an open heart, a non-judgmental spirit and a willingness to give of his or her time to visit each client in their home. We are ready to assist in any way that is needed even, when necessary, just to offer a shoulder or a listening ear. It is required that each Vincentian attend meetings held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month and to sign up to cover the phone and home visits, for a week at a time, on a regular basis.

In addition to all of the above there are special projects undertaken annually; i.e. Back To School project; Turkey Tuesday; Thanksgiving Food Drive; Foothills Food Bank.
