Our faith is put into action when we serve others. St. Gabriel’s Meals Ministry provides temporary meals to parishioners who are unable to prepare meals for themselves. We serve parishioners who are sick, recovering from surgery, taking care of an ill family member, have recently experienced the death of a loved one or have recently had a baby. It’s amazing how many families and individuals have been touched by the meals prepared and delivered by our wonderful group of volunteers.

Requests for meals are made by phone. When a request is received, an email with details is sent to all volunteers with a link to our internet scheduling form. The volunteers use the form to sign up for the date of their choosing to prepare and deliver a meal.

We are in need of volunteers to prepare and deliver meals. Volunteers will be provided with likes and dislikes, food restrictions and directions to the recipient’s home. Access to a computer and the internet is required as all communication is through emails. There are no meetings to attend.
