Catechist Formation Schedule
Are these formation sessions for you?
The answer is most likely yes! They are designed for Catechists in elementary, youth, family settings or anyone who wants to learn more about their faith.
All sessions will be from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Additional Saturday sessions will be announced at a later date.
Sept 6 |
Person of the Catechist—This session explores the vocation of the catechist and qualities of the catechist. |

Sept 20 |
Introduction to the Learner—This session explains the nature of learning, the relationship of religion and science, and principles of developmental theory. James Fowler’s theory of faith development will be presented. |

Liturgy and Sacraments parts 1 and 2 |

(Note that for certification by the Diocese of Phoenix, both parts of two part classes should be taken concurrently.)
