Sanctity of Life Ministry

Our goal for this ministry at St. Gabriel’s is to spread the message of life within our parish as well as the greater community.  The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that “Human life is sacred because from its beginning it involves the creative action of God and it remains forever in a special relationship with the Creator, who is its sole end.”  (CCC 2258) The Sanctity of Life Ministry sponsors activities on Respect Life Sunday in October and marks the Roe vs. Wade anniversary in January.  Future activities include speakers, a newsletter and fundraisers to support worthy life causes in our community.  Our meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month in the Faith Formation Room.  See our weekly bulletin column for news and information.  To join our ministry, please contact Roberta Bazaldua in the parish office.
